Keystone94 is a web gazetteer — a structured reference catalogue that records active websites across twenty-two organised territories. The project began as a practical exercise in mapping the open web: noting which kinds of outposts exist, where they operate, and what general purpose they serve.
Each entry in the catalogue is registered with a domain, a title, and a brief description supplied by the submitting party. Entries are organised by territory — from Wagering & Gaming Halls and Medical Posts & Wellbeing to Fabrication & Industrial Works and Expeditions & Voyage Logs — rather than by geography or alphabetical sequence. This territorial arrangement reflects the character of the web itself, where thematic clusters are often more meaningful than physical location.
The current catalogue holds 835 registered entries across twenty-two sections. New sites are welcomed via the open submission form on the home page; each submission is reviewed before being added to the index. There is no charge for registration, and Keystone94 does not accept payment for placement or ranking within any section.
Keystone94 functions as a finding aid, not an endorsement registry. Inclusion in the gazette does not constitute a recommendation or warranty regarding any individual site content, accuracy, or legal standing. Visitors are encouraged to evaluate each outpost independently.
The gazetteer is updated on a rolling basis as new submissions are reviewed and approved. If a registered site changes substantially after listing — or if it is no longer active — the relevant entry may be amended or withdrawn at the editor discretion.
